The low down...
The new job...
Yes, Radek loved sitting at the office with me on the weekends, but I didn't... So I got a new job!
Its the same gig, just a new place. I'm learning a lot and that's what I wanted. So I'm happy!
Let's reminisce on the days of old shall we... yes, let's...
The new house...
I was done walking Radek... in the morning... at lunch... after work... before bed... DONE. I wanted a yard and a dog door and that's what I got.
These pics are from har.com, so none of the furnishings, etc. (no not even the oh so fun neon sign...) are mine. I'll post updated pics when I finally get done decorating, organizing and everything else my anal little self can think up!

The new dog... his name is MILO!
So everyone knows I LOVE dogs!!! And I've wanted another dog for a while, but being in an apartment, it wasn't much of an option. However, now I have a house!!! And honestly, Radek needed someone to protect him from the raccoons! Seriously... here's the story:
So one night I'm hanging blinds in the guest bedroom window, which faces my neighbor's house. So I'm minding my own business, probably singing a song, and along comes a raccoon trotting from my neighbor's front yard to the area in between our houses and into a hole in my neighbors fence! What is going through my mind at this point you ask... "GROSS!!!!! Raccoons are the meanest, nastiest little critters to roam the suburban land!!!! Eww..." And yes, that "Eww..." would have been drawn out longer, HOWEVER, another raccoon comes trotting by! YES, NOW WE HAVE TWO ON OUR HANDS LADIES AND GENTLEMEN! Oh, but kids it doesn't end there! So as I'm freaking out about having two raccoons in the area, ANOTHER ONE TROTS ON BY! Yes! THREE! And before I could even think about how nasty THREE of them are... NUMBER FOUR SCURRIES ON BY RIGHT INTO THE SAME HOLE THE OTHER THREE WENT IN!!!! Needless to say, I'm in utter disbelief... blind hanging was no more... standing on the chair, staring out the window, jaw on the ground was the current state of affair.
Alright, so how does this relate to Milo... well, if you know sweet, precious little Radek, read no more, you understand. However, if you are not among the privileged few... Radek is the most sensitive and sweet little dog you will ever meet! He's so cute and those mean raccoons will eat him up!!! So in fear for my little guy, it was an absolute MUST to get another dog to protect him :)!
I rescued Milo from the Bay City Impound and I'll save details on him for another post, but here's a pic from the first day I got this cute little guy (okay so he's not little...)

The break up...
If you know me well enough you know the story... if not, you probably don't want to hear it... trust me on this one...
Alright, so now six hours later (yeah I'm assuming it took you that long to get this novel of a post) all three, okay maybe just one, of you are somewhat updated on my life!

Yeah! I'm so glad to see that you posted! I hope you're doing ok...with the dog, house, etc. I plan to dress Abby up in the cute onesie you bought her either tomorrow or Wednesday and I'll be sure to send you a pic. :)
One would hope to not wait another 6 months for an update! Cool house, when are we breaking it in with a PARTY?
